A Vibrant Artist

Welcome to the professional website of an opera-singing, production-loving, gospel-rooted, dancing actor!

Rayvon Love is a young artist who knows no boundaries. A diligent study who approaches every challenge with wild abandon, he’s constantly exploring life through the medium of art. His vibrant personality brings a “Ray-of-sunshine”…

Born and raised in Warner Robins, Georgia, Rayvon Love is a modern-day Renaissance man, currently pursuing a Bachelor of Music Performance degree and a Musical Theatre Certificate, studying voice with Dr. Elizabeth Knight at University of Georgia.

Mr. Love has received training with the UGA Opera Theatre, under the direction of Professor Frederick Burchinal (director) and Ms. Kathryn Wright (coach), and Daniel Ellis (Producer) in roles as Husband (A Visit To the Country), Tamino (Die Zauberflöte), Fenton (Falstaff), Belmonte (Die Entführung aus dem Serail), Brighella (Ariadne auf Naxos), Cascada (Die lustige Witwe) and in the choruses of Il barbiere di Siviglia and Lucia Di Lammermoor. He has been seen on stage with the Award-winning Hugh Hodgson Singers (Dr. Daniel Bara), African American Choral Ensemble (Dr. Gregory Broughton), Men’s Glee Club (Dr. Jason Daniel Burnett), Veritas Vocal Ensemble, and as a Principal dancer with the UGA Ballroom Performance group, under the direction of Natalie Cox and Dr. Michael Fulford.

Most recently, he wowed audiences with an unforgettable performance of “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You” by Frankie Valli at Cobb Idol 2021 at The Strand Theatre in Marietta, Ga. The performance led to an invitation to perform in Jukebox Giants: Motown & More, marking his Live Professional Theatre Debut!

Versed in various forms of theatre-making, he has portrayed Pablo in Sister Act: A Divine Musical Comedy, and in the 20/21 season various roles with Merely Players Theatre Group. His inquisitive nature has led him into the field of voice research and piqued further interest in various levels of pedagogy.
